A little about our program
Probably the most frequently asked question of them all is "Which course is right for me?" This section of the Web site is designed to give you important information on the different types of courses offered at Digital Bootcamp. We have structured the program to provide relavent learning opportunities for nearly every type of user known to man or beast. You'll notice our "Weekend Warrior" courses as the first stop on a comprehensive road to high-mastery. On the other side of the spectrum, the Specialist courses are intended for the "green beret" of the Student body. For those who are unable to attend during the workday, or are interested in a more in-depth experience, our 8-Week Bootcamp is the perfect choice. Please read on, and feel free to use our FAQ section to ask and answer your questions. Or, do it the trusty, old-fashioned way and give us a call or stop in. "Lunch & Learn" Program Historically, Digital Bootcamp has been known for offering comprehensive, in-depth courses in a variety of topics. We love that reputation, and are proud to extend it to this innovative new format. The Lunch & Learn program is a "Quick Hit" format where instructors, guest speakers and others in the know come together to present exciting topics that are important to your workday--or will be tomorrow. The $25 tuition includes lunch, soft drinks and dessert. Basic Training Courses (6 Hours) Lots of people have great war stories about the time they got handed a project at 9PM and had to turn it around by 3PM the next day. Invariably, the next sentence is usually "now, I'd never used (insert application here) before, but I gotta tell you, I pulled it off, no problem! (Sip...) I've been using it ever since." Alright, that's kind of impressive. But the problem is that our hero never learned the fundamentals and only uses about 7% of what the application can do . So whether you're doing it right from the start, or getting right with the universe after a decade of using 72pt leading betwixt your paragraphs instead of "space after", our Basic Training is a place where you'll learn the foundational skills to become a true hero on your next project, and/or move on to the BBT courses (how 'bout that for a segue...). Tuition: $325 BBT (6 Hours) Think of our BBT (for Beyond Basic Training) program as the Cresent Wrench of training programs. With as many as four modules per "family," the BBT program allows you to enroll in only those courses that will benefit you. This "adjustable" learning experience saves you time and tuition dollars, and will enable you to learn a wider variety of topics. Tuition: $325 Specialist Courses (6 Hours) By definition, enrolling in a course is an action you take when you don't know something, but need to. More often than not, training companies forget that this concept can, just as easily, apply to the experts in a given field. Afterall, the most talented surgeons routinely attend seminars and workshops to keep up on the cutting edge (pun intended) techniques from around the world. For the experts in Print, Web and Digital Video, we offer the Specialist series of courses. Presented in single-day, six-hour modules, these courses are restricted to Students who are already great at something, but need to punch up a specific area of skill and don't want to commit the time to self-learn. Tuition: $325 8-Week Bootcamp Courses This place ain't called Digital "Bootcamp" for nothing. The 8-Week Bootcamp courses are the centerpiece of our program. Our instructors have designed each of the 48-Hour modules to provide an in-depth learning experience which allows Students to absorb and apply the skills being taught in their daily work routine. Let's face it, after work, family and friends, there is not usually a lot of time left for practicing Javascript (or whatever) just for fun. The 8-Week Bootcamp provides a built-in support mechanism that keeps you practicing, keeps you sharp and enables your ultimate success in mastering the skills. Tuition: $1,995
